Casa San Fran update

Hey everyone,

Since I´ve gotten back from xmas break, I´ve continued to go to Casa San Francisco to hang out with the boys there, usually going on Saturdays for several hours. I´ve absolutely loved my time there taking pictures and getting to know the kids better. I must admit that it´s taken some time for them to warm up to me. A few of them were friendly right from the start, but most of them weren´t sure what to think of the new really pale guy with the camera taking pictures of them constantly. But, as I´ve continued to come week after week, take more pictures and become more of a known quantity, they´ve begun to get comfortable around me. They´ve begun to trust the camera a little more. And most importantly, they´ve begun to open up their lives to me. I began taking pictures of the Casa kids with several objectives in mind, but my main objective was to gain their trust and become their friend. While I´m not there yet, I´m making progress.
